When the Casablanca Boys perform as a
live jazz band they can either play in the
swing band style, or perform the happy toe
tapping trad jazz music in the famous style
played by the New Orleans Dixieland Jazz Bands.
Traditional or Trad Jazz Band music is a happy
joyous sound and because the musicians play
without any need for electricity, this music
can be performed in an acoustic, walkabout
style. This opens up all sorts of useful opportunities
to allow the jazz band to mix and mingle with
your guests. For example, you can hire the
band to play in this jazzy style, to welcome
guests at the beginning of a party. If you’re
having an evening party (anywhere in the UK),
where guests arrive for pre-dinner drinks,
what better than to have the Casablanca Boys
perform jolly jazz as they walk into the venue?
It acts as an instant ice-breaker. This works
brilliantly, especially if the guests are
not expecting the band to perform, and their

The Casablanca Boys are based in Yorkshire
but travel throughout the whole of the UK

live bands. They are so versatile and are
